Next steps for personalised healthcare - priorities for the new strategy, learning from the IPC pilots and expanding personal health budgets

This seminar will bring together policymakers and key stakeholders to consider the next steps for personalised healthcare - looking at priorities for the new strategy, lessons from the Integrated Personal Commissioning (IPC) pilots and expanding personal care budgets. The seminar will be an opportunity to assess key measures from the NHS personalised care strategy, expected to be published later this year, and their potential implications for social prescribing, co-production, and patient choice. With the Government consulting on widening personal health budgets and integrated personal budgets, we also expect discussion on developments going forward and questions related to the evidence base and how budgets are used, funding and costs, and the contribution of the budgets to improvements in care and quality of life. Further sessions will examine the early findings from the Integrated Personal Commissioning (IPC) pilot programmes, which have been rolled out in 18 areas across England, and how these might inform further roll-outs moving forward.
