Free workshops for people employing PAs - How to be an effective employer

Independent Lives, in partnership with Hampshire County Council, is running free “How to be an Effective Employer” workshops. Topics include: • Getting it right from the beginning (know your budget, costs and responsibilities) • Recruiting a Personal Assistant • Induction, Staff Management and Supervision The free workshop is being held at: Andover Wellington Centre, (Andover and District Mencap), Winchester Road, Andover, Hampshire, SP10 2EG Followed by: Tuesday 17th May - 10:00 to 14:30 Wells Place Centre, Allington Room, Eastleigh, Hampshire, SO50 5LJ Thursday 23rd June - 10:00 to 14:30 Cedar Room, The Orchard, White Hart Lane, Basingstoke, Hampshire RG21 4AF Wednesday 5th October - 10:00 to 14:30 Meeting room 1, Carers Together, Hampshire Carers Centre, 9 Love Lane, Romsey, Hampshire, SO51 8DE Wednesday 23rd November - 10:00 to 14:30 Havant Borough Council, Public Service Plaza, Civic Centre Road, Havant, Hampshire, PO9 2AX Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
