Dragon Boat Racing for The National Centre for Young People with Epilepsy

Want to take part in one of the fastest growing and most exiting sports? If so The National Centre for Young People with Epilepsy (NCYPE) would love to hear from you. It’s holding its first Dragon Boat Racing event on Sunday 17 September at Eastbourne Harbour and there are still spaces for you to enter a team. Why not get together with 16 of your friends, family or work colleagues and enter a crew? You’ll race in a large Chinese dragon boat and can wear whatever weird and wonderful team outfits you like. All participants must be aged over 16 and able to swim 50 meters in deep water. You don’t have to be super-fit but must enjoy having fun. Entry is only £20 a person plus sponsorship. Each team will take part in a minimum of three races on the day (weather permitting) and more if you reach the finals. Prizes will be given to the first place and runner–up teams.
