Strictly Good Health for People with Learning Disabilities

The event is suitable for staff and professionals working with people with Learning Disabilities who are interested in better health care. The Conference will launch the Surrey Health Strategy 2009 – 2012 and showcase the innovative work that is happening across Surrey. You will also get the chance to network and meet with other people who share the same interests and goals. Presentations will include: • Pain recognition and management • Mental Health and well-being • Acute Hospital training pack • Clinical Holding in Oral health • Healthy living • Caring Solutions • Primary Care There will also be the opportunity to visit the exhibition and learn about a wide range of exciting projects and initiatives for people with Learning Disabilities in Surrey. For people working in the County of Surrey, the conference is free. However, to book a place we require a returnable deposit of £20 by personal cheque. This will be returned to you when you attend the conference. This will only be cashed if you do not attend the conference. Please write your name and place of work on the back of the cheque to help us in returning it to you. For people working outside the County of Surrey, the cost of the conference is £50. Payment can only be made by cheque (not invoice).
