FREE Seminar, Supporting Older Families: Making a Real Difference.

The Foundation for People with Learning Disabilities are holding a FREE seminar to raise awareness of the major issues affecting older families of people with learning disabilities • To bring people together to find ways in which policy and practice in Scotland can better support older families • To bring together services supporting people with learning disabilities, older people and family carers - all of whom have a shared responsibility in meeting the needs of older families • Sharing information and highlighting practical examples of the large and small things that can make a real difference to the lives of older families as demonstrated by the Older Family Initiative from the Foundation for People with Learning Disabilities.
