Getting on with it – Practical ways to support the health of people with learning disabilities

There is now overwhelming evidence of the inequalities in health faced by people with learning disabilities along with many examples of poor and discriminatory treatment. However, there are also lots of good examples and solutions that have been ‘tried and tested’ to support positive change. This conference will support those who are ‘getting on with’ the health agenda, no matter where they are in the journey. We will be hearing from speakers who have made progress in a range of settings, sharing key learning and problem solving. This conference aims to support delegates by clarifying the policy landscape and, importantly, sharing good practice from the ‘work in progress’ in local areas, across regions and nationally.
