The Nature of Special Interests for People with ASD

During this workshop there will be an opportunity to share what participants know & understand about the special interests of people that they work with. We will explore the range of functions that special interests seem to fulfil in ASD & then go on to look at how they can become or appear obsessive but also how to use them effectively as motivators.
