| Service Description | Riverside is a day service supporting adults with learning disabilites across the week. The service is based in the centre of Tonbridge High Street and offers an ideal base from which service users can access the local comunity. We have excellent links with local schools, colleges, leisure and employment opportunities and have several joint working projects at present, with more planned for the future. We work closely with parent/carers and care management to ensure agreed actions are regularly reviewed and monitored with a view to meeting the individual needs of service users. Riverside is in the process of extending their hours to support service users in the evening and weekends in order to provide a more flexible service. Currently we are looking at a joint working project in the Malling area, in order to offer more localised services to people in this area. |
