In this full day interactive workshop – using video footage, lecture style presentation, group work and discussion – we will explore these issues. We will hear from individuals with ASD who are describing their anxieties, accounts from families describing the issues and then running throughout the day will be the idea that constructing an ‘anxiety plan’ will allow people living or working with individuals to begin to implement. Importantly this workshop could allow people to help an individual understand their own anxiety and scaffold a plan that can help them deal with phobia’s, stresses or just day to day life – whatever their functionality.
