Making new connections 2 conference: speech/language therapy conference in London

An exciting speech and language therapy conference hosted by the Department of Language and Communication Science at City University, on the 10th Anniversary of the first Making New Connections conference. The conference highlights new developments and common themes in working with children and adults who have language disabilities. Main topics covered in paper and poster sessions include: Evidence Based Practice, Language Processing, Psychosocial issues and Language and Cognition. Speakers include: Nicola Botting, Shula Chiat, Gina Conti-Ramsden, Madeline Cruice, Julie Dockrell, Barbara Dodd, Victoria Joffe, James Law, Jane Marshall, Penny Roy, Michael Rutter, Maggie Snowling and Rosemary Varley. The conference will be held on the 14th and 15th September 2006 with an evening reception on Wednesday 13th September at City University, London. Full conference attendance: £250 £150 Day rate.
