Autism: improving practice throughout life

Good Autism Practice journal seeks to promote good practice for children and adults with autism across the lifespan. This conference is to share ideas and evidence on what makes for the most effective support. It is crucial that good practice continues when an individual moves between the phases of education, or from one setting to another. To make sure this happens, staff need key information on autism and on the needs, strengths and interests of the individual. They also need to engage the individual and family members in sharing ideas on what is required to provide the right kind of support to ensure the best quality of life for that child or adult. This conference aims to provide ideas on the key principles involved in doing this.
