Learning From History

This event will be of interest to professionals working within a range of service settings but particularly those in services for adults who have learning disabilities. The day highlights the real life experience of a person with learning disability, through his own experience and in his words. Delegates will have the opportunity to explore the historical aspects of policy and legislation, the importance of peoples’ experiences and to discuss what makes life “good” for people now and in the future.
