Making it happen - implementing the Mental Capacity Act 2005
This event will look at ways of implementing the Mental Capacity Act to improve the quality of lives of people with learning disabilities. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their personal and organisational practice, and explore practical strategies to improve the support they offer in implementing the Act in their workplace. As part of the process, participants will complete a Personal Action plan to take away and use in their workplace.
