Preventing and Managing Challenging Behaviour
This event will explore how to prevent challenging behaviour and provide effective support of individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism. The day will explore policy, environmental and organisational issues, as well as focussing on the process for supporting individual people. By the end of the day, participants will have gained an understanding of the key issues relating to the management of challenging behaviour and be able to set these in the context of their own practice and their responsibilities in the workplace.
