Whose choice is it anyway? supporting choice and decision making

The balance of power for people with learning disabilities often sits with others, many decisions are being made for the person rather than with them or by them. This event is designed to look at ways of redressing this and finding ways of involving the person more in both everyday choices and decisions and in the bigger important decisions in their life. It will provide delegates with a tool to use that will clearly identify what decisions are made and by whom in the person’s life. This information can form a separate document or be include in a support plan.
