Physical Intervtentions; a policy framework
This event will explore the issues relating to the development of
organisational policy on the use of restrictive interventions. The day
will explore definitions, use of restrictive physical interventions, scope
of policy, health and safety issues and relevance to organisational
risk assessment. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss a
framework for policy development, and how to monitor, review and
evaluate such a policy.
This event will be beneficial to practitioners from a variety of services,
who are developing new policies in line with national guidance.
