Autism and Sensory Issues
This event looks specifically at the sensory issues that can affect individuals with an autistic spectrum disorder.
It covers hyper and hypo sensitivity and encourages staff to focus interventions and environments from a sensory
perspective. By the end of the day, delegates will have gained insight into the autistic person’s life and will have a greater awareness of everyday events that can become stressful and aversive.
